Goal: design a building to store the city’s archival materials, on a tight, sloped urban infill site.
The building is meant to serve the community, as well as the archives. Community spaces include a cafe, gallery, event space, and a reading room. Archival spaces include the archives and supporting office space.
For this project, we also designed and modeled the HVAC system.
